Is this... Kor? Sora's close friend?

Hmm? Yeah, that's me! Something up?

[ Finally he patched through to someone. His mind has been elsewhere so he had been having trouble concentrating. The words leave and instead Kor is greeted by a tired looking Squall face. ]

Ah... no nothing is up.. sorry.

[Kor's confusion is palpable through the connection. This guy looked familiar, very similar to that guy that harassed him the other day in the park about Sora. But there was something... different about this guy. He wasn't sure what, but he was getting a different from the guy he talked to before. Did he have a twin?]

??? C'mon, if you went through all this trouble just to contact me, just to say that, there's gotta be something wrong!

[ He cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck. ]

My name is Squall Leonhart... Sora's probably never talked about me, but he's talked a lot about you... I thought you'd be the best person to ask... if Sora might have something he really wants, or might like. And don't give me any of that "He's sora he'll love anything you give him!" crap.

[Sora talks about him to his friends? That's a little embarrassing... But also touching. ~~Not like you don't talk about Sora to all your friends all the time, Kor.~~]

But it's true, y'know. [He scratches the back of his neck, a hot static filling the connection. ...Okay, so maybe he was more than a little embarrassed. He pauses, clearing his throat.]

Err, uhh... Right. Anyway, how about a keychain? If you give him that comes from your heart, I'm sure he'd really love it!

[ The warmth was a little.... strange and uncomfortable, but it was a little nice in a weird way??? He must really care for Sora, squall was thinking. ] If I gave him a keychain it'd just wind up looking like one he already has...

Oh, damn, really? [That's unfortunate as hell. How does that even happen?] Did you already give him one or something?

It's.... complicated?

[ How is he even suppose to explain "oh hey I have a facetwin from another universe who gave Sora the keychain I would have?" It was better justbleave it as complicated. ]

[Fun fact: If you ever want to make Kor shy away from something, tell him it's complicated. He doesn't like complicated.

_{Note: Doesn't always work.} But in this instance, it does work, and he drops the subject. He can always figure it later. There are more important matters right now. Like figuring out a present.] Well, if you know what it looks like, couldn't you try to make a different one, then? Or... maybe a necklace designed in the same style to match it? It wouldn't give him a new keyblade, but it'd look cool!

[He actually liked that idea? Score, his next idea was probably going to be a snowboard and he's not sure how well that'd go over.]
